The Eurocopter HH-65 Dolphin is a twin-engine helicopter in service With the US Coast Guard (USCG). it's primarily used as a short range recovery (SRR) aircraft. It is a US version of these French-built Eurocopter SA366 G Dauphin.

The Dolphin helicopter powered by, two Lycoming LTS-101-750B-2 every and each creating 742 shaft HP. The Dolphin is frequently deployed from one shore however it can be deployed from one medium and high endurance Coast Guard Cutters, and the Polar Icebreakers. The Dolphin's major jobs are: search and rescue, enforcement of laws and treaties (including drug interdiction), polar ice breaking, marine environmental protection Which include pollution control, and military readiness.

The Seahawk is a twin-engine helicopter. it's used for anti-submarine warfare, search and rescue, drug interdiction, anti-ship warfare, cargo lift, and special operations. The Navy's SH-60B Seahawk is an airborne platform based aboard cruisers, destroyers, and frigates and deploys sonobouys (sonic detectors) and torpedoes in an anti-submarine role. They also extend the range of the ship's radar capabilities.

The U.S. Navy plans to convert all SH-60Bs, as well as 18 SH-60Fs, to multi-mission SH-60Rs. The new edition will feature advanced radar, missiles, low frequency sonar and a number of different enhancements.

The Kiowa is a dual-role helicopter operated by the US Army. This versatile airframe acts as each a scout helicopter and full-blown combat helicopter. The Boeing CH-46 Sea Knight is a medium utility helicopter, developed to the US Marine Corps. Its primary function would be to support assault forces. first production model was known as the CH-46A. This helicopter made It's maiden flight in 1962. The Sea Knight entered service With the US Marine Corps in 1965. Production ceased in 1971 with over 500 helicopters built.

The H-46 "Sea Knight" helicopter is One of the largest helicopters in the US Navy inventory. The helicopter has the capability to land and taxi in the water in case of emergency, and is also able to stay afloat for up to two hours in two-foot seas. due to its tandem rotor design, the "Sea Knight" is an very versatile aircraft. It's able to excel in various flight maneuvers, such as rearward and sideward flight. This makes the helicopter perfect for its primary Navy mission of vertical replenishment. The Sea Knight is armed with two 12.7-mm machine guns on every side and one 7.62-mm machine gun for self-defense. Even so these weapons seem to be fitted optionally.

The first version of this workhorse helicopter was flown more than 20 years. The Sea King has been replaced by SH-60F Sea Hawk helicopters as an anti-submarine warfare helicopter. The transition occurred in the early 1990. The Sea King then became a search and rescue helicopter.

The UH-60A Black Hawk is the primary division-level transport helicopter, providing improvements in troop capacity and cargo lift capability compared to the UH-1 Series "Huey" it replaces. The UH-60A, with a crew of three, can lift a grown man of 11 fully equipped infantry squad in most weather conditions. It can be configured to carry four litters, by removing eight troop seats in the role Medeval. Both the pilot and copilot are provided with a protective armor against the seats. Armor protection in the Black Hawk can withstand hits from rounds of 23 mm.

The Black Hawk has a cargo hook for external lift missions. The Black Hawk has provisions for door mounting two guns M60D machine 7. 62mm on the M144 armament subsystem, and can disperse chaff and infrared flare dispenser interference with general-purpose M130. The Black Hawk has a composite titanium and fiberglass four-bladed main rotor is powered by two General Electric T700-GE-700 1622 shp turboshaft engines and has a speed of 163 mph (142 knots).

The UH-60 first flew in October 1974, was developed as a result of system utility tactical transport aircraft (UTTAS) program. The UTTAS was designed for troop transport, command and control, medical evacuation, and reconnaissance, to replace the UH-1 Series "Huey" in the combat assault role. In August 1972, the U.S. Army selected the Sikorsky (model S-70) YUH-60A Boeing Vertol and (model 237) YUH-61A (1974) as competitors in the UTTAS program. The Boeing Vertol YUH-61A had a four-bladed composite rotor, was powered by the same General Electric T700 engine as the Sikorsky YUH-60A, and could carry 11 soldiers. In December 1976 Sikorsky won the competition to produce the UH-60A, later called the Black Hawk.

The UH-72A Lakota is new the new U.S. Army Light Utility Helicopters, the name of a Native American tribe. It is in keeping with the tradition of U.S. Army helicopters to give their Indian names. The Lakota is a military version of the Eurocopter EC145. The helicopters are being manufactured by American Eurocopter. It will replace the older UH-1H Iroquois helicopters and OH-58C Kiowa. Lakota helicopters used in the U.S. only, support for national security, disaster relief operations and law enforcement. The first UH-72 Lakota was delivered to U.S. Army in 2006. Deliveries of the first eight helicopters were completed in 2007. Helicopters were ordered later and a large percentage production was authorized. The requirement for U.S. Army is a total of 345 helicopters. The Army National Guard will receive the bulk of these helicopters. Five helicopters were ordered by the U.S. Navy.

The UH-72A Lakota is disarmed. It is mainly used for logistics and support missions out of combat environments. It will also carry out medical evacuations and rescue people. This helicopter has a capacity of 1 790 kg. You can also carry a maximum load of 1 500 kg underslung. The Lakota has a crew of two and up to 8 soldiers. Alternatively, you can carry two stretchers and medical attendants.

The most famous helicopter in the world is the Bell UH-1 Iroquois, commonly known as "Huey". The Huey, which first flew in 1956, served in front line service in the U.S. armed forces and the military of many nations, and will continue for many years to come.

The first helicopters such as Sikorsky R-4 and S-51, were powered by piston engines. In the 1950's, turbine engines are used in many fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter designers began to consider using them for helicopters. The turbines were lighter and provide more power than piston engines, but were more expensive. The first Bell helicopter to use a turbine engine was a modified model of 47 designated XH-13F and moved in October 1954.

In early 1955, the Army awarded Bell a contract to develop the next generation of turbine helicopter medical evacuation, designated XH-40 and then the name of the model 204. The XH-40 first flew on October 22, 1956. Two prototypes were built in 1957, and eighteen more YH-40 service test aircraft in 1958. Bell actively marketed the ship for more than close medical evacuation role, and the plane of the pre-production became so popular among the military who were accustomed to engine piston aircraft that the Army was quick to order even more the ship. The Huey was the first turbine-equipped U.S. helicopter to enter HU-1As production.Production model entered service with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Lewis, Washington. Although they were intended for evaluation only, the Army quickly put into operational service.

The AH-64 Apache is a twin-engine, four bladed, multi-mission attack helicopter designed as a highly stable aerial weapons-delivery platform. It is designed to fight and survive the day, night and adverse weather conditions worldwide. With a crew sitting tandem of the pilot, located in the rear cockpit position and the co-pilot gunner (CPG), located in the forward position, the Apache is self-deployable, highly survivable and offers a wide lethal battlefield weapons. The Apache has a target acquisition designation sight (TADS) and Pilot Night Vision Sensor (PNVS), which allows the crew to navigate and conduct precision attacks in day, night and adverse weather conditions.

The Apache program has the potential to become four different models of service simultaneously. These models were, the AH-64A, an AH-64 +, with improvements in the product applied, and an AH-64D Apache Longbow-screen glass cockpit, advanced engines, wiring Longbow systems, radar interferometer Longbow missile system. The AH-64D standard was previously known as AH-64C. Approximately 1 / 3 of the fleet of Arc was planned to also be equipped with the Longbow millimeter wave radar fire control, original AH-64D standard. The conversion of a model A to model D cost 10 million dollars. The Longbow FCR adds another $ 3.6 million to the price tag.

The AH-64D Apache Longbow is a remanufactured and upgraded version of the attack helicopter AH-64A Apache. The main changes to the Apache are the addition of a millimeter-wave radar Fire Control (FCR) system for target acquisition, fire and forget Longbow Hellfire air-ground missile, updated T700-GE engine-701C, and a complete integrated cabin. In addition, the aircraft receives improved survival, communications and navigation capabilities. Most existing capabilities of the AH-64A Apache are retained.

The AH-64D has been sent in two configurations. The AH-64D complete until all improvements included above. In addition, a version of the AH-64D [formerly designated the AH-64C] without the FCR was also to be deployed. This version does not count on the new frequency radar interferometer (RFI) or the improved engines, but receive other Longbow modifications. The AH-64D without FCR is capable of launching the Longbow Hellfire missile. Boeing delivered the first remanufactured Longbow Apache in March 1997. A total of 501 AH-64A Apache were to be upgraded to the AH-64D configuration, 227 of which will be equipped with the FCR.
