A310 Multi Role Transport MRT

A310 Multi Role Transport MRT
The Airbus A310 MRT for the German Air Force is a joint project of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace Airbus GmbH and Lufthansa Technik. The MRT - Multi Role Transport - will fulfil a good range of various transport tasks with just one aircraft type. The concept relies on conversions of Airbus A310-300 commercial aircraft, that are already in worldwide operation. Standardized kits - including all systems for transport tasks - are used for the conversion in accordance with client requirements.

The Multi-Role Transport (MRT) version will be realized by the conversion of Airbus passenger aircraft by means of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace Airbus conversion kits. In three versions, the aircraft will fulfil the tasks passenger/personnel transport, combined cargo and passenger/personnel transport, or conduct ambulance flights for sick, hurt or wounded persons (MEDEVAC). All versions provide the benefits of modern, economic and proven medium-to-long-range widebody aircraft and are capable of performing transport tasks at favorable operating costs.

Dassault Super Etendard Light Weight Strike Fighter

The Super Etendard is a carrier-based single-seat strike fighter introduced into service in 1978. it'} an updated version of the Etendard IVM. based on expertise gained throughout the Korean war (1950-53), French authorities drew up specifications for a lightweight interceptor. This definition was rapidly assimilated into a program for a lightweight tactical bomber that might also fulfil an air superiority mission. At the same time, NATO revealed its needs for the LWTSF (Light Weight Tactical Strike Fighter). In response, the Dassault company presented its Mirage and Etendard aircraft.

To meet the needs of each national and NATO programs, Dassault carried over the aerodynamic style of its Super-Mystère, applying it to smaller aircraft equipped with power plants that might reach transonic speeds while not afterburners. This led to the planning of the Mystère XXII (Etendard II), Mystère XXIV (Etendard IV) and Mystère XXVI (Etendard VI), developments that were outstanding for improving lift so take-off and landing became potential at reduced speeds.

Panavia Tornado is Multi-role aircraft developed and built in cooperation with England, Germany and Italy. It is a compact twin-engined variable-geometry aircraft. The Tornado was also the production of military aircraft with first flight controls-by-wire. There are strike attack (IDS), air defense (ADV) and electronic versions of War (ECR).

The ADV has an elongated nose. The original contractors bought 933 aircraft, but production is still underway in Saudi Arabia. The IDS version is considered a very effective attack aircraft, but the ADV has been criticized because it is a long-range interceptor with little capacity for dogfights. British Tornados Gr.4 IDS configuration will be updated. The loss of six Tornadoes during the 1992 Gulf War led to a storm of criticisim, most unwarranted. The paper used and the design of the aircraft is comparable to the U.S. ageF-111 Aardvark. The Tornado is probably one of the most versatile combat aircraft in history

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine multirole canard-delta strike fighter aircraft, designed and built by a consortium of European manufacturers in the aerospace industry, Eurofighter GmbH, formed in 1983.

The Eurofighter is the product of a consortium of British Aerospace, Deutsche Aerospace (Germany), Alenia (Italy) and CASA (Spain), with the United Kingdom and Germany providing technological leadership. In large-scale development since 1988, the Eurofighter is a £ 46,000, single-seat, twin-engine short takeoff and landing (STOL) multirole fighter optimized for air superiority in missile capability, both out of sight range (BVR) and close combat in agility, but also have air-ground capabilities.

Computer simulations (focusing on BVR air-air combat) conducted by European contractors and government agencies suggest that the Eurofighter is superior to all the U.S., Russia and European fighters examined, with the exception the F-22. While it is impossible to determine the validity of these findings, which indicate that the developers of the Eurofighter are aiming for very impressive capabilities.
